Australia's BIG GOLDEN GUITAR TOURIST CENTRE, situated on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, NSW, the nation's Country Music Capital, is open seven days a week, 364 days a year.

The Centre caters for all visitors, including wheelchair access, with one of the city's most important and unique attractions, Country Music "The Gallery of Stars" Wax Museum.

Visitors can relax with food and refreshments in the Golden Guitar Coffee Shop, browse through hundreds of Australian and Overseas country music CD's and DVD's, Tamworth Country Music Capital souvenirs and gift items.

We are situated on the Sydney side of Tamworth on the New England Highway just after you enter the city limits. Just keep your eye out for the Big Golden Guitar! The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre is in close proximity to The Golden Guitar Motor Inn, Stetson's Steakhouse, The Longyard Hotel, McDonald's Family Restaurant, and the BP Stop 'n' Go Service Station.
