This collection has been hailed by the experts as one of the finest in Australia and takes pride of place at The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre in Tamworth.

Amassed over 20 years by the late Gil Bennet of Tamworth, the collection features rare and beautiful specimens from many parts of Australia and overseas, many of which are now irreplaceable. Special features of the display include a unique array of superb, highly polished spheres fashioned from a variety of rocks, each rock representing many a days work. The spheres are said to be unmatched by any collection anywhere in the World.

As well as creating an interesting and fascinating addition to The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre, the display represents an invaluable educational resource.

The display is located in the Golden Guitar Coffee Shop and is free for all to see an enjoy.
